OCRs.ai · Document intelligence API

Turn any file into structured data your systems can use.

OCRs.ai turns documents, images, audio and video into accurate, structured data through one API, with an AI quality-control pass on every file and embeddings written straight into your vector database.

The problem

Most of your useful information is locked inside files.

Invoices, contracts, scans, recorded calls and screen captures all carry information your business runs on. Getting it out reliably is where projects stall.

Manual rekeying

People retype what a machine should have read, which is slow and quietly introduces errors into records.

Lost structure

Generic extraction returns a wall of text. Tables collapse, columns merge, and the meaning goes with them.

Too many tools

One vendor for OCR, another for transcription, another for embeddings, and glue code holding it together.

Why we care

Extraction you can actually build on.

A document pipeline is only useful if the output is correct and structured enough to feed straight into your systems. When extraction is wrong or loses layout, teams end up re-checking everything by hand, which defeats the point.

We built OCRs.ai so the slow, error-prone step of turning files into data is accurate, inspectable and ready for search and AI, without stitching together three separate vendors.

How we solved it

Four stages run on every job.

OCRs.ai ingests any file, extracts the content, runs an AI quality-control pass that corrects likely misreads, then delivers structured results wherever your applications need them.

01

One API for every format

Documents, images, audio and video go through the same endpoint. No separate vendor for transcription and no template setup per document type.

02

Quality control on every file

An AI pass reviews the extraction and corrects likely recognition errors, such as misread digits, broken dates and confused characters, before the result reaches you.

03

Structure that survives

Tables stay tables, columns keep their reading order, and every block comes back with its position on the page so results can be traced to the source.

04

Ready for search and AI

Embeddings can be written straight into Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate or pgvector, so retrieval and AI features work the moment a file finishes.

How it works

Three steps, no setup.

  1. 01

    Send any file

Documents, images, audio or video go to one endpoint, with no templates to configure per document type.

  2. 02

    We extract and verify

Content is read with layout intact, then an AI quality-control pass corrects likely misreads before you see it.

  3. 03

    Use it downstream

Take structured JSON back, or have chunks and embeddings written straight into your own vector database.

Privacy

You control where the output lands.

OCRs.ai is an API: you send a file and get structured results back, or have chunks and embeddings written directly into a vector database you own. There is no subscription and no platform fee holding your data hostage.

How we handle data →
  • Results returned to you, or written into a vector database you own
  • Pinecone, Qdrant, Weaviate and pgvector supported as destinations
  • No subscription and no seats: pay only for the pages and minutes you process

Who it is for

Built for teams that cannot afford to guess.

Financial services

Read every statement, invoice and filing without a rekeying team.

Healthcare and insurance

Turn intake forms, reports and claims into usable, structured records.

Legal and compliance

Make contracts, filings and discovery bundles searchable.

AI and data teams

Ship retrieval over your own files without building a parsing stack.

OCRs.ai questions

What file types can OCRs.ai process?

Documents and images, including PDF, DOCX, PPTX, XLSX, CSV, PNG, JPG, HEIC and TIFF, plus audio such as MP3, WAV, M4A and FLAC, and video such as MP4, MOV, MKV and WEBM. Everything goes through the same endpoint.

How is this different from plain OCR?

Plain OCR returns raw text. OCRs.ai preserves layout and reading order, runs an AI quality-control pass that corrects likely misreads, and can write embedded chunks straight into your vector database for search and AI.

How much does it cost?

Documents and images are $0.012 per page, audio is $0.03 per minute and video is $0.06 per minute. There is no subscription, no seats and no platform fee, and your first top-up includes $5 in bonus credit.

Need more than the product?

We build it into your workflow.

OCRs.ai is one example of what we engineer. If you need it connected to your systems, or running inside your own infrastructure, our team designs, builds and operates it for you.
